All have agreements followed by consequences so it is clear what will happen if any of the agreements are breached.

Policy needs to include three responsible parties - students, parents & school. Needs to be in plain speak so all understand requirements.
1. Should have student, teacher and parent/visitor roles and responsibilities.
2. Statement about the internet as a privilege
3. Documented process for breaches
Glossary of terms to explain things such as chatting/blogging etc - becomes an educational tool for parents as well
Consequences/removal of privileges to be stated on policy.
Include about mobile phone / cameras web 2.0 types sites
1.Needs to link to cyper bullying policy, i-pod and mobile phone policies seem to be a trend.
