The bus ride was not that good of a ride but when we hit New Orleans i felt alive.

Back in my favorite town!!! YES!! Looking forward to great memories!!! Bus ride was a lot easier than I thought it would be! I'm back Che'!!!!!
Very historical day for CAHS we poured libation at Congo square just after it received its official name.
Had a great time on this historical day that CONGO SQUARE was officially named so!! We played sang & danced to Congo Square to Treme thru the French Quarter!!
Today was a wonderful day . I was able to to see the impact on the people from playing and i was able to speak to some of the people who was deeply effected
Today was pretty awesome. I learned a huge lesson. A lesson to be greatful of what is given to you in life.
Today I learned to appreciate what I have in life after wlaking through Treme. I'm having thoughts of becoming a hippie and I adored my bonding with Jessie!
today was an awesome experience. I enjoyed walking through congo square and dancing. i also tried some different food that was so good.
todays experience cant be described with words. it was great. we were all blessed to be able to experience a day in the city of new orleans surrounded by love..

wooooowww!!!!!!!!!!!! it was amazing. i was scared that i was going to mess up but when i did my solo i was sooo proud of myself and everybbody else was too. =D
Today competition was AMAZING! we were all a tad nervous due to the fact that we could not practice. We sat and watched theother choirs sing who werepretty good
competition was great , im SO proud of the vocalist and the band. Everything worked out for the best and New Orleans is beautiful :)
its going well so far im having fun a lil tired but im hanging the music is great the walking the streets playing is great its awesome!
Da "Big Easy" is were its at. Playing around the town is a great way to release stress but so far i am having the time of my life networking and meeting people.

today was swell... meet people from Canada.. eat alot of food.. n having a great time with my best friend jessi.. eve when she acts fake lol.i like new orlean!!
I love New Orleans, this trip is a great experience. The culture is breath taking, and the food is great. Marching through the French Market was amazing.
Am so happy to be in the birth place of the great louis armstrong. i can not wait untill i get out there and play my head off
Kids did us proud today in vocal competition w/ Princess and the Frog and Dengo!! Judge was really impressed.
Next stop Rawl Street!!!
So far this trip has been very fun . We walked through NOLA onthe first day and performed in the streets. Today is the day the strings perform :0 im so nervous.
so far i've had alot of fun just hanging around in New Orleans with my Creative Arts family. Walking around Tremme was very interesting.

So today was a long and fun day. We finished the rest of the competition and went to the award ceremony. I'm so glad that Camden represented very well.
had lots of fun the whole time saw rebirth brass band cant wait to hear their cd cant wait to get home doe having a great time hope we deo this again

no words can describe how happy and proud iam and honored to be on this trip...this might be corny but i loue all of the teachers that let me come on this trip.

The Performance was great! Still need to work on sounding together with ma section but we improvin. Best prt of da night was playin outside da party!
Todays competetion was awesome . The strings did better then we expected . of course we brung almost alllll the awards back :) CAHS

spoke to the director from AL, what an INSPIRATION! She, 2,loves muisc & her kids! Their houses & school were destroyed in the storms yet they perservered!
Woke up this morning to these beautiful notes. Words from quiet transformed souls, touched by the spirit of a place left barren. Emerging n alive with hope.
The students competed against others who lost homes and loved ones in the Horrific Tonado distruction in Alabama. we expressed that we would be praying for them
this trip was the best of the bet im having so much fun i don't even want to go home even though i do miss my family.
THE FOOD DOWN HERE IS WONDERFUL

Yesterday was a great experience at the ceremonies. It felt good to know that we made such an impact on people.

this trip has been fun! i met alot of ppl i learned alot..but i still cant wait to go home i miss my mom i blessed to be here THANKYOU MR. DICKERSON AND STAFF!!
Today was a great full of knowledge and emotions. New Orleans is the place to go would love to live here
My experience in New Orleans gives me a new land and lets me see a area where i would love to go to college.
i had i blast in new orlean i did my best in cumbanchero and the reason i gave it my all is because i do not wanted to let down my people
So today was another beautiful day and i really don't want to leave my 'second home' :) And once again I LOVE MY CAHS FAMILY SOOO MUCH!!!!!
I HAD A GREAT TIME ON THE TRIP...I LOVE EVERYONE HERE AND I CANT WAIT UNTIL WE RETURN TO SCHOOL. I MISS EVERYONE.
AND I AM SO PROUD OF EVERYONE. WE DID IT !!!!! MS. YEL COME WITH US NEXT YEAR WE LOVE YOU

The greatest lessons taught by teachers and learned by students will NEVER be taught in a classroom.
