you only use your real name when you have something like an email or a blog or something that you are telling a friend online. That is what i think

I decide by asking some one that i trust, like my dad, and if he says to write my real name I would, but if he said not to, then i wouldn't.

I use my real name when I am online. I trust the websites I use so I am comfortable using my name. When I was younger I would sometimes use nicknames.

you use your real name when it is a safe website and just your friends there.you dont use it when there is lots of other people you dont know on line

make sure you only give your real name to people you know, and not to the people you don't. when on a chat site, use a fake name.

Most websites I go on, They don't ask for my name but the ones that do ask, I tell them my real name. Alot of the time though, I use a nickname.
