What is the relationship between having learners be comfortable all the time with the learning activities and having them step out of their comfort zones?

Robin says

If learners are out of their comfort zone, they are attending to new stimuli which leads to learning.

Just read your book...can't wait to try out some of the ideas!

Sharon says

I agree, Robin. Learners need to be out of their comfort zone in order to learn but not so much that they stop learning. A balancing act, to be sure.

Let me know what ideas you use and how they work - thanks!
