What I learned at the luncheon was that dumplings come from Chinese people and African American people.

One of the things I learned the most about is Robert Smalls. He is an enslaved Man, Ship captain, Us Congressman, and a War hero. Robert Smalls was born on April 5th, 1839 in South Carolina. He is known for a lot of things, but one thing he is known for is his courage and how he got freedom for the families that stuck with Robert Smalls’ plan.
